Astarte cares about the oil, the soil, and the environment as a whole. On this page, you would be able to review the organic certification, the steps we take to ensure the oil is shipped, and stored, properly (away from heat), and ideally, our carbon footprint.

Lab results

The olive oil industry has a transparency problem. We would like to be part of the solution and publish our laboratory results.

Organic certification

Organic does not only mean the absence of GMO (genetically modified organism) or the absence of pesticides, although those are required conditions. It means more effort is put forward with the aim of reducing the environmental impact. Read more about organic farming in the EU here.
